The group of companies was established by Mr. Thongchai Phraerangsi in 1990 to engage in the business of selling and repairing heavy machinery and spare parts, including providing services for moving large or heavy materials or equipment, under the operation of The Crane Service Company Limited (TCS). Therefore, The Crane Laem Chabang Co., Ltd. (TCL), The Crane Rayong Co., Ltd. (TCR) and The Crane Heavylift Co., Ltd. (TCH) were established to support business expansion, especially in various industrial areas.
In 1997, Chukai Co., Ltd. was established to import used heavy machinery from overseas for sale to customers, as well as provide repair services and sell spare parts to companies within the group and general customers. Later in 2004, the group of companies restructured its shareholding and operations by allowing Chukai Co., Ltd. to hold 99.99 percent of shares in The Crane Laemchabang Co., Ltd. (TCL), The Crane Rayong Co., Ltd. (TCR), and The Crane Heavylift Co., Ltd. (TCH). After the shareholding restructuring, in 2005, it was transformed into Chukai Public Company Limited (CRANE or the Company). In 2006, the Company held 99.99 percent of shares in The Crane Service Co., Ltd. (TCS) and increased its registered and paid-up capital from 200 million baht to 350 million baht, and reorganized its business structure within the group. Chukai Public Company Limited will primarily sell and repair heavy machinery, while its subsidiaries will provide rental and transportation services.
The company has moved its head office to No. 44/88, Village No. 1, Si Sa Kaeo Yai Subdistrict, Bang Sao Thong District, Samut Prakan Province 10570.
The total number of common shares issued for sale is 60,633,189 shares offered for sale at a price of 2.00 baht per share, starting trading on June 19, 2017, resulting in the Company's paid-up registered capital increasing from 696.42 million baht to 757.06 million baht.
The Company increased its registered capital from the original 696.42 million baht to a new registered capital of 1,044.64 million baht by issuing 348,212,342 new ordinary shares (par value of 1.00 baht per share) to support the allocation of additional ordinary shares to existing shareholders in proportion to their shareholding (RO) and warrants (CRANE-W1).
The Company has adjusted the business structure of the Group of Companies, classified by business type as follows:
Heavy machinery sales and repair services business operated by CRANE
Heavy machinery rental business operated by TCR and TCL
Foundation construction contracting business operated by TCS
The company was appointed by XUZHOU CONSTRUCTION MACHINERY GROUP IMP. & EXP. CO.LTD. or XCMG as the sole official distributor of XCMG cranes in Thailand. Later, the company canceled its distributorship of ZOOMLION cranes.
The Company increased its registered capital from 626.78 million baht to 696.42 million baht in registered and paid-up capital by issuing 69,642,613 new ordinary shares (par value of 1.00 baht per share) to support the dividend payment.
The Company moved its securities from the Market for Alternative Investment (MAI) to be listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET).
The Company increased its registered capital from 578.57 million baht to 626.78 million baht in registered and paid-up capital by issuing 48,214,186
new ordinary shares (par value of 1.00 baht per share) to support the dividend payment.
TCR increased its registered capital from 25.00 million baht to 150.00 million baht in paid-up registered capital by issuing and offering common shares to existing shareholders at a par value of 100.00 baht per share.

The company has been appointed as a distributor of ZOOMLION brand cranes from ZOOMLION HEAVY INDUSTRY SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT CO., LTD., a leading crane manufacturer from China, and is the sole distributor of cranes from the said company in Thailand.
The Company has been granted permission to issue its ordinary shares to the general public for the first time (Initial public offering: IPO) and become a listed company on the Market for Alternative Investment (MAI).
Increase the registered capital to 450.00 million baht (450,000,000 shares, par value 1.00 baht per share) to support the listing in the new stock market.
The Company acquired shares in The Crane Service Co., Ltd. (TCS) in the proportion of 99.99 percent by purchasing ordinary shares of The Crane Service Co., Ltd. (TCS) from Mr. Thongchai Phraerangsi at a price equal to the par value of 1.00 baht/share, with the source of investment coming from the Company's capital increase.
Increased the registered and paid-up capital from 200.00 million baht to 350.00 million baht by offering 50 million shares to a limited group of persons (par value of 1.00 baht per share) at an offering price of 2.00 baht per share and offering 100 million shares to Mr. Thongchai Phraerangsi (par value of 1.00 baht per share) at an offering price of 1.00 baht per share to be used as working capital and to support the acquisition of 99.99 percent of the shares of Chukai Public Company Limited (CRANE) in The Crane Service Company Limited (TCS).

The Company acquired shares in subsidiaries, namely The Crane Laem Chabang Co., Ltd. (TCL), The Crane Rayong Co., Ltd. (TCR) and The Crane Heavylift Co., Ltd. (TCH) in the proportion of 99.99 percent by purchasing from the group of Mr. Thongchai Phraerangsi at a value equal to the par value of 100.00 baht/share (for TCL and TCR) and 10.00 baht/share (for TCH), with the source of funds coming from the Company's capital increase.

Established The Crane Heavylift Co., Ltd. (TCH) with a registered capital of 10.00 million baht in Rangsit area to operate a business selling used heavy machinery such as cranes, forklifts, and trailers, etc. and providing services for moving materials or equipment by cranes, forklifts, semi-trailers, tractors, trucks, trucks with cranes, as well as transporting and installing industrial machinery. TCH provides services covering customer groups in Pathum Thani, Ayutthaya, Saraburi, and various provinces in the South.
Established The Crane Rayong Co., Ltd. (TCR) in Ban Khai District, Rayong Province with a registered and paid-up capital of 2.00 million baht to operate a business in selling used heavy machinery such as cranes, forklifts, and trailers, etc. and provide services for moving materials or equipment by cranes, forklifts, trailers, trucks, and machinery. The company constructed a factory office building and a house on an area of 10 rai to expand the business to Rayong Province because the company has a large customer base in Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate and to support customers in the petrochemical industry, refineries, steel mills, and port businesses, which are the company's main target customers.

(TCL) with a registered and paid-up capital of 2.00 million baht to operate a business selling used heavy machinery such as cranes, forklifts, and trailers, etc., and provide services for moving materials or equipment by cranes, forklifts, trailers, and trucks in the area in front of Laem Chabang Port, Chonburi Province.
